Compare: GOD to Allah

Share

People often say that GOD and Allah are the same person/entity. I vehemently disagree with that statement. IF they were the same person, you would have to be able to describe them the same way. They would have the same attributes, beliefs, teach the same things, want the same things for their followers, have the same rules, etc., etc. If that were not so, they could not be the same person/entity, could they?

For instance, in describing Tom Cruise, you would say he's a somewhat attractive caucasian male with dark hair, a small but sometimes muscular build (he's not 6'4", is he?), has been married several times, has children (X girls and X boys: the numbers can change), has a certain filmography, a certain belief system (Scientology), has been on record as having jumped on Oprah's couch while saying certain things. Correct? If, I were trying to describe Tom Cruise and said that he was a 75 yr. old black male commedian who served in the U.S. Navy, was a big star in the sixties and again in the eighties, and he was married to a certain woman for many years and had a son who had been tragically murdered during a carjacking, and had four daughters, you'd say I was insane, right?

The same holds true of GOD and Allah. If they are the same person/entity, then they would have to be described the same way. So let's take a look at their descriptions and see if they are the same. If the results are different, they cannot be the same person/entity, correct? If the description of GOD (His attributes, history, physicality, beliefs, what He wants for us, what He requires of us, etc.) is different from the description of Allah, then they cannot be the same person/entity. That's all there is to it. So, let's take a comparative look at the two. Check out the table below. Then tell me what conclusions you draw. Remember: you can't describe Bill Cosby and expect people to recognize Tom Cruise, nor vice versa. So if GOD and Allah have different descriptions, then they MUST be different people/entities.

What Do The Books Say About Each Other? What the Bible says about the Koran/Qur'an     Bible Verses     What the Koran/Qur'an says about the Bible     Koran/Qur'an
The Koran/Quran is not mentioned in the Bible. The Koran/Quran was written after the books of the Bible were completed and set. None "O ye who believe! Believe in God And His Apostle, And the scripture which He sent To those before (him), Any who denieth God, His angels, His Books, His Apostles, and the Day Of Judgment, hath gone Far, far astray."Surah 4:136
"Say ye: 'We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ismail (Ishmael), Jacob and the Tribes and that given to Moses, and Jesus, and that given to all the prophets from their Lord: we make no difference between them.'"Surah 2:136
"It is He Who sent down to Thee (step by step) In truth, the Book, Confirming what went before it; And He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (Of Jesus)"Surah 3:3
"And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah."Surah 5:46
"Say: 'O People of the Book! Ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord.' It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith."Surah 5:68
"They do blaspheme who say: 'Allah is Christ the son of Mary.' But said Christ: 'O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.' Whoever joins other gods with Allah - Allah will forbid him the Garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrongdoers be no one to help."Surah 5:72
"This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah; On the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the Worlds."Surah 10:37
"And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury) but say, 'We believe in the Revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; our God and your God is One; and it is to him we bow (in Islam).'"Surah 29:46
"And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book [Qur'an] to thee. So the People of the Book [Bible] believe therein, as also do some of these (Pagan Arabs); and none but Unbelievers reject our signs."Surah 29:47
"Before thee, also, the messengers we sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: If ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message [Qur'an]."Surah 21:7
"Say: 'O People of the Book [Bible]! come to common terms as between us and you: that we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah.' If then they turn back, say ye: 'Bear witness that we (at least) Are Muslims (bowing to Alla's Will)."Surah 3:64
"Ye People of the Book [Bible]! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, of which ye are (yourselves) witnesses? Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge?"Surah 3:70-71
"And behold! Allah will say: 'O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, 'Worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?' He will say: 'Glory to Thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, Thou woulds indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden."Surah 5:116

Questions to Think About:GOD/BibleBible Verses:Qur'an/KoranSurah/Hadith
Is GOD/Allah Trinity or One God: If not Trinity, then why does Quran/Koran say "We" so much?GOD is Three In One: Father, Son & Holy SpiritMatthew 28:19; Luke 1:35, 3:22; John 3:34-35, 14:16-17 & 26, 15:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 Peter 1:2"I bear witness that there is no god except for God (Allah), and Muhammad is the messenger of God." Compared to Surahs -- Plurals: ("We"/"Us"/"Our") 2:3, 2:34-36, 2:39, 2:49, 2:50-53, 2:56-60, 2:63, 2:65-66, 2;83-85, 2:86, 2:93, 2:98, 2:106....21:91, etc.; Singulars: ("I", "Me", "My") Surahs 2:30, 2:40-41, 2:47, ; ("He"/"Him"/"His") Surahs 2:31, 2:46, 2:61, 2:80, 2:90, 2:105, 2:107, 2:109, 2:114 ; Both Singular AND Plural: Surahs ("We" & "Me") 2:38, ("We" & "His) 2:73 (Partial List of contradictions)
If Jesus was a servant/Prophet of Allah, why try to discredit Him?Jesus was the Son of GOD and His ServantMatthew 1:18, 1:20; Luke 1:26-38; John 1:34; Jesus was Saint/Prophet of Allah; not one with GOD; not GOD's Son; didn't turn water into wine; was Islamic follower/servant of Allah; was not killed on the cross; is laughed atSurahs: (Servant/Prophet of Allah) 19:23-34; (not GOD) 5:17, 5:72, 9:30-31; (not GOD's Son) 4:171, 19:35; (water/wine)5:113-115; (was Muslim) 4:172, 19:30, 43:63-64, 42:13, 61:6 & 14; (not crucified) 4:157-158, 4:171, 5:110; (laughed at/ridiculed) 43:57

When you look at that chart, you see that there are some spaces on both sides that are not filled. There are attributes, names, parts that one has but the other does not. That tells us that they are not the same, because if they were the same, they would have NO DIFFERENCES WHATSOEVER. They would have the same physical, spiritual and emotional (if you will) characteristics. If they were the same, they would have the same ideas, same rules for us, same goals, same path to salvation, same prayers for us to pray, same message to us. But that is not true, is it?

Considering the MAJOR DIFFERENCES between the claims about GOD and Allah, they can no more be the same god than Bill Cosby can be considered the same as Tom Cruise. They are totally different and there are huge differences between the religions of those who follow Christ, GOD's Son, and those who follow Islam. I hope this chart makes some of those differences quite clear and that the nonsense that they are the same god will now stop.

According to the Koran/Qur’an, the Prophet was a messenger and received the Koran/Qur’an. He was born of normal parents, he lived a rather normal life and sinned during that life and he DIED a normal death and was buried. They know where his bones are.

Christ, on the other hand is acknowledged by the Bible AND the Koran/Qur’an to have been born of a virgin, was protected from sinning according to the Koran/Qur’an; CHOSE not to sin according to the Bible, and both say Christ performed many miracles (something the Koran/Qur'an never said the Prophet did). In the Koran/Qur’an it is said in at least one place that Christ was “taken up” by Allah; i.e. he didn’t die on the cross, but was unconscious and taken down, then raptured by Allah. In the Bible, Christ died on the cross, and rose again after the third day and is alive today at GOD's right hand.

My question: Why follow someone who may not have even been SECOND BEST (John the Baptist’s life was more touched by GOD and miraculous than the Prophet's, even according to the Koran/Qur’an) instead of the FIRST BEST, Jesus Christ? That is, why follow Mohammed when they could follow a SINLESS, miracle performing, virgin-born man who may have been raptured instead of a normal man, Mohammed? Remember: This summation of comparison is based on the Koran/Qur’an and the Bible.

The Bible says, "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; [my bolding]" (Joshua 24:15a). I pray this chart will help clarify that choice. GOD bless you!
